Beef Top Round Steak - how to cook?

It's about 9 inches long and 3/4 inch thick. Would I marinate it? Cook it a few minutes on each side - I guess like a skirt steak?

  1. Marinate them (no acidic ingredients) for about half an hour, then pop them under the broiler (high setting) and broil from 3 - 6 minutes per side to the degree of doneness you prefer. Just don't overcook it or you'll end up with something unchewable.
    You could also braise it and use it in fajitas.

    1. Grind up with some fat and make hamburger.

      Or slice small for stir fry.

      I think you will be disappointed trying to eat it as a steak.

        OK - good to know. I could slice think and stir fry. Would it be a good braising cut? I'm not quite sure how i ended up with it!
