Does anyone know a good place to purchase Thai green curry paste in the East Bay?

    1. I think the Ranch 99 chain has Thai curry paste -- Mae Ploy brand.

      1. I definitely picked up red curry paste at Berkeley Bowl West (Mae Ploy brand too)...almost sure that they carry green too.

          1. The little produce market on College next to Wood Tavern has it.

              1. Most safeways seem to have Thai Kitchen brand. It's terrible; try anything else.

                Thai Kitchen Restaurant
                538 E Cotati Ave, Cotati, CA 94931

                1. There is a Thai take-out and grocery store int he Pacific East Mall in Richmond/Albany (where Ranch 99 is). Its called Ran Khanom Thai if I am not mistaken. The owner Nut makes and sells her own green and red curry pastes as well as some sauces for Pad Thai etc. Her take-out food is delicious as well. Closest to homemade you can find. Its all organic as well.

Another vote for this place, there's some seriously great stuff going on here.

Third! So many interesting and organic items there. Love the spicy chili paste. Bring the fish skin chips to your next party.
