Peaceful Restaurant on Davie?
Just noticed a sign for peaceful restaurant on davie between Seymour and Granville? Does anyone know if they are moving from cambie? Is it the same restaurant? Kind of exciting for our neighborhood if that's the case.

They opened today-great addition to the neighbourhood. I am looking forward to trying out new dishes every week as I am not that well versed when it comes to Chinese food.
I had the really spicy noodles (I think they are called spicy hot chili noodles) that I have ordered a few times now at their W.Broadway location and they were good just overly spiced. For anyone who has ever complained that their food is never spicy enough-these are a must try. If I were a cartoon, I would have steam coming out of my ears right now:)

Cool ! :-D Glad you had a good meal.
Wow, suddenly the West End has Peaceful *and* Legendary Noodles (Denman), to which I only discovered today that they have a website and menu:
http://www.legendarynoodle.ca/
I think the spicy noodles you ordered was the "Sizzled-Hot Chilli Noodles", or N19, on the menu:

Man I could use a bowl or two of that right NOW

re: selena03
Went there tonight with my two daughters. It was quiet - just one other table when we were there. It was only their second day open and they were still ironing out the kinks (the CC machine wasn't working and they were out of my usual favourite orders there - Xian cold noodles and cold buckwhet noodles).
I ended up having what selena had - the spicy hot chili noodles (which were indeed spicy hot, albeit a bit one-note). The beef roll was as good as the ones at the Cambie location.
My daughter (who's is an XLB fiend) commented that her XLB were not soupy, and the skin thick and a couple of them were punctured. (Peaceful, at the best of times, doesn't serve great XLB anyway.)
My older daughter had the pan fried vegetable crescent dumplings and she found them good enough to order a second helping.
Looking forward to lunching there soon as it is only a few minutes walk from Yaletown where I work.
