Its been a few years since I've been but is the halal cart at 6th & 53rd still around? Is it still good, what are the hours and which corner is it on. Want to identify the right one. In addition looking for any good street cart/vendors etc in Manhattan. Thanks

It's still around: on the SE corner in the day and SW corner at night. Look for the yellow bags. The competition tries to trick you by wearing yellow shirts. There's a "branch" also at 7th and 53rd. Ask for as much hot sauce as you can bear. That's what makes the dish.

If I had to choose, I'd pick a biryani from the cart at 6th and 46th, over the halal offerings at 53rd.

Just head over to the cart with the longest line, especially after services. Personally, I don't see what the big deal is, it isn't that good, but each his own.
