Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Manhattan

Best cocktails near Hell's Kitchen?

I'm having dinner in Hell's Kitchen tonight and would like to get some high-quality craft cocktails before or after without having to go too far downtown. Any recommendations?

  1. This article in today's NYT gives some good options for you:

Stecchino is another option, on 9th avenue; not as good as downtown spots, but some decent cocktail options with interesting ingredients.

Good article. I'll be looking into some of those options. The cocktail list at Rum House seemed to me pretty run-of-the-mill, though, when I went a few weeks ago, and maybe not what the OP calls "high quality craft cocktails". There's nothing wrong with the drinks; they're just not particularly innovative. (Think mojitos, chocolate martinis, etc...)

    2. Stone Rose in the TWC at Columbus Circle has well made cocktails.
