African ?

A friend of mine mentioned he loves African food, was wondering if there's any good restaurants I can try. I know there's one near my place on notre dame that I've been hesitant on trying. Any suggestions?

If you mean the African place on Notre-Dame in St-Henri just west of Atwater...it's good! Give it a try.

Here's some info for this place. Still haven't been myself but glad to hear it's good:

      Gracia Afrika
      3506 Rue Notre Dame Ouest

Rumi on Hutchison does North African & Mid Eastern influenced dishes and is really excellent.

There is a tiny African place (take out?) right next to Snowdon station (exit and go left). It lists Sinegalese rice as one of the dishes.

I haven't tried it myself. In fact, maybe somebody else can say if it is good.

I really dislike ethiopian. Was referring more to senegalese type.
