lunch near Chateau Marmont

Please recommend nice places for lunch around 5 to 10 minutes drive from Chateau Marmont. Thanks.

      What budget, what atmosphere, what type of food? How many people? Is there an occasion?

        Just a bunch of ladies, 5 or 6, getting together. Japanese, French, Italian, or something new and interesting. No particular budget issue.

          I just noticed this post by Pay or Play about a place (Petit Ermitage) that ought to be within your stated driving time and it seems to be very new. Don't know anything about it, but certainly looks interesting based on the botique hotel website: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/772838 I don't know if this has a connection to the larger L'ermitage Hotel hotel (but probably based on the name) or not? If you feel like the spirit of adventure and living dangerously appeals to you this might be the spot? ;-D>

        Places like Spago or Comme Ca or Fogo de Chao all come to mind. Are you looking for any one type of food over another?
