The Uptown Diner
How does this place stay in business? I had a tuna melt there for lunch today and it was horrible. Reminded me of decades ago when my brother used to switch labels on cat food and tuna fish to gross me out when I made a sandwich.
Plus, the place was a messy disaster. I should have walked. Who owns / runs this place?

I'm going to show a little love for the place. Every once in a while I get a hankerin' for a ginormous breakfast and the Veggie Tex Mex or the Cajun Breakfast are what I usually give in to. These days, I go for the half order but there was a time when I was younger where a full order was what I needed.

re: sandylc
The Keys are all owned and operated by different people. All members of the same extended family, apparently, but different people nonetheless. I won't go to the Key's on Raymond. It's pretty bad. But the Key's in Minneapolis (in the W) and the Key's in St. Paul (Robert St. though I haven't been in awhile) are respectable if you just want a basic breakfast. No special sourcing or anything like that.
