Hello!
I would love any recommendations for lunch and dinner in the Lucerne area...any special gems...as well as any interesting non-restaurant food spots. We would like some casual cafe atmosphere with good food and some for an exceptional foodie experience. I would love the same information for the Bellagio/Lake Como area.

Any information on bars/lounges would be great too!

Thanks so much!

In Bellagio, look no further than Silvio's - setting and view is out of this world, food is authetic and local, staff are pleasant if a bit relaxed and they'll even drive you back to the ferry after your meal. One meal was with colleagues of my wife on Sunday night - it was so good I went back for lunch alone next day while she was at a conference in Cadenabbia. Expect fish from the lake and a well developed, reasonably priced wine list. They also have a great house beer.
Never managed to find any memorable food in Lucerne but the scenery makes up. The drive between Lucerne and Cadenabbia is about 200km through the Alps - take your time and enjoy it.
