Bangers in LA?

I am trying to find bangers (english Sausage) to cook at home. Does anyone know someplace in LA that sells them?

    I believe I saw them at Schreiner's deli in Glendale/Montrose. Give them a call first but I am pretty sure I saw them when I was up there a couple of weeks ago. I am going to La Cabanita for dinner tonight, so if I have time before (may not), I will run in and check for you.

      trader joe's is carrying irish bangers--probably for a short time.

        Bob's Quality British Butcher Shop in Granada Hills on the corner of Balboa Blvd and San Fernando Misssion behind the Trader Joe's. He makes them fresh every morning. But you have to get there early because once that batch goes he won't make anymore for the day. They are worth the effort! Really good other meats and British products.

            You're welcome! I want to keep Bob in business. :-) Bob's bangers are the best! And you can pick up reasonably priced jar of Coleman's mustard to go with your bangers.

              How much does Bob charge for a jar of Coleman's ?

              On the Westside - a 3.5 oz. jar typically sells for $4.99 to $5.50 (until it gets too near the sell by date, then they mark it down to $2.49 to $2.99).

            Bob's bangers are probably better, but if you can't make the drive, I've found that the Picadilly brand (made by Papa Cantella's) are pretty good. I often find them at Vons.

              I'm a little late to this, but the butcher up at the Beachwood Market in Beachwood Canyon also makes excellent English bangers, as well as fantastic slab bacon that they'll slice to whatever thickness you desire.
