Need ideas for a birthday dinner (Chef's table/Italian?)

Trying to book something fun for my husband's birthday later this month. Anyone know of any places that offer a good chef's table or a special event like a wine/dine type of meal? Something with an Italian twist is preferred. Thanks!

    I like wine mondays and cheese tuesdays at L'Espalier. The food is great, the atmosphere fun, and the information always useful. You can go on line to see which wines or cheeses are featured.
