Hi All

Im looking for real Japanese ramen in either Fairfield or New Haven County. Plenty of restaurants have udon but I REALLY want traditional, authentic ramen. Thanks!

I think you will be disappointed with what you find in CT if you have previously had really good ramen.

I think you have to get the supplies - Mitsuba in White Plains comes to mind & make your own.
There is a Japanese grocery in Greenwich off of i-95 which may supply the necessary ingredients.

      It's easy!

You will not find it. Your best bet is to go to Totto Ramen in NYC's Hell's Kitchen, and even that is not the real thing.

If memory serves me right, I think there was a Japanese Noodle vendor selling noodle soup in the back of Fjord Fisheries on River Road in Cos Cob. I know Fjords has moved but I'm not sure about the noodle vendor. There was an article in the Greenwich Times about the operation.
