Idea: white pasta with fruit.

I've not heard it before, but what about some white pasta, maybe some tag, served with a fruit compote? Berries of some kind?

Considering kugel is made from pasta and dried fruit, I can't imagine your idea wouldn't work. Perhaps canneloni filled with a sweetened ricotta and berry compote?

That sounds really good. I'm not sure the ricotta would need sweetening either. It would add a pleasant tartness. A bit like a cheesecake with pasta.

None of my friends think it's a good idea, but they didn't want to try the peanut brittle with bacon either.
