We will be visiting the DeYoung Museum and would like to have dinner in the Arguello/Clement St. area. Any good recommendations for Vietnamese, Thai, or new restaurant with reasonable prices. Thanks.

I like Quan Bac Vietnamese on Geary and 5th. Pretty space, nice presentation, reasonable. I get the sizzling fish when I am there. Alittle oily, but good.

Tawan's Thai on Geary is a small friend family-owned restaurant with the usual standards executed well.

Mai's on Clement has good Vietnamese food, especially the lemon beef salad

King of Thai on Clement between 7th and 8th ave. I think this may be the first King of Thai and it is the best. They are not shy on spices. Do not go to the King of Thai that is also Clement and 5th ave.
