Paris 3 Star Restaurants L'Astrance, L'Arpege, Bristol, & Meurice
Hello, I am going back to Paris in a month. Last visit I had an excellent meal and time at Guy Savoy. I also ate at Ledoyen, which was nice. Le Table was very nice, but I left not quite impressed.
So now I am going back. My lineup includes L'Astrance, which I was able to get a lunch reservation through my hotel concierge. I was wondering if I should do the cheap lunch menu or go the whole way?
Also thinking Le Meurice or Bristol. Which do you prefer, and why????
Lastly L'Arpege for dinner or lunch? What is the cost for dinner vs. lunch, and differences?
Does anyone have any suggestions for other nights where we might want to try a good italian restaurant? Also asian restaurant? Middle Eastern?
What is the best food market to walk around in during the day? Also the best time of day to do so?
I THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!
I wouldn't be much help re the restaurants you've mentioned, but everything you have asked about has been addressed in recent threads. So, may I suggest that you break your question down and use the search feature above. Once you've read through these you might ask for some specifics.
As the "best" markets...yes, there was a thread on this just last week. But, I didn't get around to adding on the best guide to markets I know of... http://www.discoverfrance.net/France/......
As to when to go, the answer is "early" as they tend to close before the posted times. Also, the food is less picked over.
I'll be watching for your response.
Good luck and have fun!
