Ice cream cakes

Are there any good ones in the city? Preferably on the west side of the city or someplace parking-accessible. If not, I might trek down to Baskin Robbins in Westlake. I see maggie mudd's has one, but it seems super expensive, and the last time I went there for ice ream, I was really disappointed. Thanks!

For kids, I'd go with Baskin Robbins or Cold Stone Creamery. For adults, the HS option or Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous in Dogpatch was making holiday ice cream pies which were fantastic.

Thanks! I knew about the Humphrey Slocombe option, but didn't think Secret Breakfast would appeal to a group of kids as much. I might look into Bi-Rite though - if not for the kids, for myself. Yum.

Humphry Slocombe has an ice cream cake. You might want to call ahead and check.

not quite the same as an ice cream cake, but bi-rite has really great ice cream pies.

Bi-Rite also makes ice cream cakes. Last month, I bought their 8" Coffee Toffee Ice Cream Cake for $30 and it was so good I couldn't stop at one piece!

Mitchell's is better than Baskin Robbins and has parking. Not cheap and better for odd tropical flavors than chocolate or vanilla.

You can get a non-ice cream cake at Delessio for about the same price.
