Dinner with no baby

Would anyone have a suggestion for a fun place to have dinner "without" a child on Friday? We don't get a lot of nights off and wanted to go somewhere that we definitely couldn't go with a baby.

We would be looking on the north side, (Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square, etc) with good cocktails, and not overly expensive. Any type of food is fine, but a suggestion for a place that either would be too loud, too crowded or otherwise not fit for taking a baby would be great. A loud bar with good food, korean bbq, or somewhere really elegant are places we normally have to avoid.

Thanks

Some of my favorite contemporary American restaurants are on the north side: Deleece on Southport in Lakeview, and Perennial and Boka in Lincoln Park. These are bistro type places - not necessarily overly loud, but upscale adult type places where you don't generally see small children (except at Sunday brunch).

Similarly upscale bistro in style, but with French cuisine, is Bistro Campagne in Lincoln Square.

Cool. I love Deleece, the new chef there (new for me, as I said I don't get to go out a ton with a small child) is great. If you haven't had there roast chicken, it is the best I've ever had anywhere.
