Cuban roast pork?

daniesea Mar 15, 2011 11:01 AM

Hi I'm going to be visiting Miami in a couple weeks. I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. I would like to find a restaurant that serves roast pork with the crispy skin. I've always wanted to try it but don't know where to find it. Any info would be great! Thank you

Versailles is certainly competent, but justaddwater seems to have even better alternatives.

Most every cuban place serves lechon, but maybe not all with the skin. Two of my favorites are La Rosa that has it as a saturday special for lunch, though there is sometimes some left at dinnertime, and El Cacahual, where lechon is the specialty with the added bonus of terraza seating. El Cacahual is a bit hidden, be sure you have good directions. La Rosa is a bit more upscale.
