Nice dinner in the East Side?

West Enders going out for dinner in the East Side. Any suggestions? We were thinking Leslieville area. Nice but not super expensive, around $15-under 30 entrees. Any 'smart casual' suggestions?

Tomi Kro is definitely East Side smart casual and the menu is nearly as eclectic and diverse as its staff. A very Toronto-esque neighbourhood establishment. Reviews are quite mixed on this Board, but I've always had a pleasant and fun time, even if the food didn't wow me. If you're looking for a well-rounded experience, this must be a good stop.
