not a fan of shad / roe... it's an acquired taste that I have yet to acquire(!) but you can check Hamilton's Grill Room where we've had it in the past.
It's not on their online menu yet as it's too early, but worth a call to see if they'll be serving (mid April).

re: Foody4life
I hate to say it, because we used to love Hamilton Grill, but the last two times we went it was just plain bad food. Still lovely service, nice place but really slacked off on the food. Even wrote a letter to the management after the second off meal and got no response. Too bad.

If the past is any indication of what is to come, I hope I have my camera with me when he dons the little red cocktail dress!
In December, 2009 the owner of Metropolitan Seafood assured me that the move would take place "by March" (that's March of 2010, not 2011). I pretty well gave up any hope that they would ever move but I see that the building is now sort of complete and there is a sign in the window that they will be moving soon.
I also noticed that yet another Italian restaurant will be going in next door. This means two new Italian restaurants on Route 22 West between Whitehouse Station and Lebanon. You would think that with two Italian restaurants already in that stretch of highway someone would have been more imaginative.
