Has anyone eaten there? Any opinions? I'm trying to decide whether to sign up for the pre-Hospital Hill Run dinner. Thanks!

  1. I've heard bad things about the service--slow, getting orders wrong, that sort of thing--but if it's a set meal for the HHRun, that might not be an issue? I can't tell you about the food, personally, cause I just don't eat Italian food out. A friend of mine likes their meatballs, but others have said the food is mediocre. So, I don't know if that's much help!

    1. It;s been 10 years since I've eaten there. They were ok. Nothing to rave about, but decent. Hope they haven't gone down hill, b/c that wasn't a fast drop. SHouldn't be posting without positive things to say; slap my wrists.

      1. I've had a few lunches there because it's close to a friend's office, and it's not bad — not great or particularly chow worthy, but it's decent, serviceable food. I typically have a salad, and they do a nice job of offering fresh greens that aren't overly dripping with dressing. Some of the pasta dishes look a little heavy or sticky, but I've never had anyone at my table overtly complain about anything they've ordered.

I've never had a problem with the service, and I've eaten there with some large groups. Never had an order filled wrong and they're prompt with drink refills and handling the check.

It's certainly not where I would choose to take a date or go for a special night out, but for a quick business lunch when in the Crown Center area, it's certainly not a bad option.

Glad to hear about the service not being a consistent problem. I always wonder about that phenomena where if someone has a bad experience they talk about it to ten more people than they do a positive experience...

        2. You talking about Milano in Crown Center? It is right next to D'Bronx.. I can't seem tomake it over to Milano with D'Bronx right there! Pizza is the best in KC!
