Susur Lee in Edmonton

Susur is apparently working with the students at the NAIT culinary program. This Wednesday the students are preparing a lunch under his tutelage. Does anybody have tickets for the event? If so, I would love to hear a review of the food served.

  1. Wow - very cool! I'm anxious to hear about this too! A dinner we had at Susur's restaurant in Toronto a few years ago remains, far and away, our most memorable meal ever. :)

    1. Edmonton, and NAIT, you are very lucky indeed.

      I dined at Susur's first restaurant in Toronto, Lotus, 23 years ago, and have been a fan ever since. He is a true student of cuisine and will be a huge benefit to the NAIT programme.

      Spend the $50 and go, I'm certain the food will be incredible.

        1. Drool... only had dinner at Lee once, definitely one of the best meal I have had in Toronto. Good food, good service, nice atmosphere.

          For a new Edmontonian like me, can someone educate me on whether this is a regular annual event? Any other NAIT events coming up?

            NAIT is now onto its 3rd year of Guest Chef in Residence.

            "The Hokanson Chef in Residence program kicked off with Canadian celebrity chef Rob Feenie in February 2009, followed by David Adjey in March 2010, and 2011 Hokanson Chef in Residence is Susur Lee, in March 2011"
