Source for Langoustines?
Hi all. I've got a recipe that calls for langoustines...anyone know where I can source them? Bonus points for proximity to Arlington, though I'm willing to trek.
I've tried Whole Foods, Grand Mart and the Great Wall Asian grocery in Falls Church. And sadly the M. Slavin & Sons fishmonger in Alexandria has closed. Recommendations appreciated...thanks!

Maine Ave Fish Market has had them every time I've been there.

re: dklipscomb
I believe what TJs carries is frozen langostino tails; langoustine is technically a different beast, although I don't think I could tell the difference. For the OP: if langostino is sufficient, I was at the TJs in Old Town Alexandria today and they did have the langostino in the frozen section.

If you want fresh, a fish market is going to be the way to go. If Maine Ave doesn't have them, maybe try BlackSalt? (Pretty sure Balducci's doesn't have them, but it might be worth a call there, too.)
