Brooklyn Jury Duty lunch suggestions
The only previous post I found was for vegetarian inquiries... I'm not a vegetarian and start jury duty tomorrow... What's good to eat nearby for lunch?
As someone who finds himself in court in Brooklyn a lot (I commit many felonies), here's some of my favorites:
Sahadi or Damascus next door to each other on Atlantic are perfect for a quick lunch. I grab some salads, some hummus and a pita at Sahadis or some of the meat or spinach pies at Damascus. Also like Bedouin Tent.
You *might* be able to do Mile End in an hour. Carryout for sure.
We also have the opening of a Shack Shack ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE COURTHOUSE to look forward to sometime sooner rather than later.
There's a pizza place called Fascati near the courthouse that everyone raves about, but I haven't been yet for some reason.
There's a farmers market on Tuesdays and Thursdays that has some good stuff right at Borough Hall.
