What restaurants do we have in St. Louis that will remind her of her childhood?

I just walked out of The Fountain on Locust, which isn't that old but looks like it is. Al's just celebrated a major anniversary, and certainly predates WW II. Kemoll's has been around a long, time, too, but obviously not in its current location. And I'm sure others will have more suggestions.

Highly recommend Fountain, beautiful space, eclectic, delicious food, and good people. Actually, that restaurant was a showroom for the luxury car maker Stutz and I would venture is at least 80 years old - Art Deco, at least.
