Something Near BAM pre theatre

We are attending the BAM to see Jacobi's Lear and wondered if there were any recs for something near there for pre theatre meal. We could do up scale or something funky or just a good solid food bet. Food type is pretty flexible.

Stonehome Wine Bar and Restaurant has excellent food, wine and service. It's a few blocks from BAM.

Thanks to both of you. I've made a reservation at Conviium so I'm hoping that works out with our timing. On a not food note, if you have any idea, to get to that area from mid-town is the easiest thing just jump on the subway?

Upscale: Convivium Osteria - Portuguese/Italian on 5th Ave between Bergen & St. Marks (excellent)
Gastropub: Alchemy - 5th Ave (Same block) (Not my favorite, but others like it)
Guadelupan/French: Kaz An Nou - 6th Ave, Bergen and Dean. BYOB and cash only, but inexpensive and pretty special
German Bistro: Berlyn. Across the street from BAM. Quite new. I've never tried and no CH reports.
Smoke Joint: Fulton & Lafayette. BBQ. Disappointing for me, but others like it.
