semi-casual "authentic" mid-priced business dinner in New Orleans

I will be in New Orleans next week for a trade show. Staying in the French Quarter. I need a few suggestions for medium priced dinners good for groups of 6-10. Preferably within walking distance from the convention center.
Thanks!

Medium price is a relative term.

My choices when I'm at the convention center are Bon Ton, Rio Mar (tapas lunch or dinner), Grand Isle. There are many good places near there, Cochon, Emeril's, August, where you might get by "medium" if you were careful.

Compared to many large cities a meal at a good New Orleans restaurant is "medium" compared to the cost for the same level meal in those cities.

thanks so much! these are great recommendations. prices look great- just trying not to be totally extravagant.

Good recs! Most would be considered "cheap" in many cities, to which I travel, and would always be considered "true values" by most. I still find great dining in NOLA to be a "deal," and on almost all levels.
