  1. You can search the site, but would recommend Perla's. Better check fast and get reservations where ever with SXSW in town.

    1. uchi, uchiko, and parkside, which were all mentioned in your other austin thread, are all solid for seafood.

perla's is also another great choice, in a town with a limited amount of "seafood" restaurants.

speaking of limited, you are going to be hard pressed to find reservations during sxsw.g
      good luck.

      1. Fish Daddy's up north is good and CHEAP. It won't be too crowded at that location either

Gumbo's has seafood too and they have several locations

        1. Eddie V's is also a good choice, as well as Trulucks... you may even be able to get in to their north locations.

I'll second the Eddie V's and Truluck's suggestions. They are chains, but sadly, I like both better than Perla's.

mostly i've had the happy hour menus at these two places, but the seafood selections are good.
i just don't care for the vibe.
both of them are waaaaaaaay too cougar-filled for my taste.

Cougars, cougars? Did someone say cougers? Where and when, what and how? Whoopee, Cougars!!

Best cougar watching BY FAR is Siena on2222

happy hour is their preferred feeding time.

            2. Stay away from, Gumbos in Round ROck--iccck

Fredas by lakeline has yummy food and is out of the SXSW crowd..

              is Cherry Creek still around?
