Jelly doughnuts or Bavarian cremes?

My husband has been having a craving for jelly doughnuts. Does anyone know a good bakery that does filled doughnuts?

YoYo Donuts in Minnetonka has jelly filled. They are on Shady Oak Road north of 62 in the Sundial Center. They also have a maple glazed bismarck topped with a piece of bacon.

I think Emily's Bakery does an excellent custard filled bismark (that seems to be the prevailing term around these parts if you ask me) They are a ways away in Hastings but make some tasty pastries.

I only know of one bakery in town that does not* have some form of jelly donut. What area are you looking in?

We live in Richfield on the South Minneapolis border. We're willing to travel for quality.

That's an old-fashioned classic that you could possibly find at a more classic American bakery - have you tried Woullet or A Baker's Wife?

              Or there's a Mel-o-Glaze just south of A Baker's Wife also.
