Visting Cape Canaveral - Places to shop for Food?

  • 3

My family and I are visiting Cape Canaveral in April for about a week. We're renting a condo so I'll have a kitchen to use.

In the past I've always had great luck finding fresh fish/shrimp at the port, so that part I'm pretty comfortable with, unless you have a specific place you'd recommend.

However I'm hoping to find a good butcher shop in the area if anybody knows of one? Otherwise, any recommendations on places to shop for groceries, preferably a place with good selection of produce and maybe imported cheese? I've had trouble with that in the past.

Let me know if you have any tips!

Thanks,

Mike

  1. There's a Publix down in Cocoa Beach, so that will take care of all of your basics. A little further afield, you might want to check out The Green Turtle for cheese & meats.

Hey, this looks great! Thanks so much! I'm definitely going to visit this store when I get down there.

Would you recommend the selection here for wines over ABC? (Or, do you know a better place?)

Your "everyday" type wines will be a bit cheaper at ABC (& also at Publix), but you'll find more interesting wines at The Green Turtle.
