I Pazzi, Danvers
I'll respond to my own post since we went here before anyone commented.
It was very good and the service was attentive. We went early in the evening about 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday so it wasn't overly crowded and to top it off it was a rainy, nasty night.
I had a pasta dish with littleneck clams. They had different size offerings so I chose the smaller size. It was enough that I wasn't too full. Other half had a special that evening which was a lamb shank and he raved about it. We both had decaf coffee (very strong) and a dessert. I don't even remember what I had for dessert, but it was good.
It certainly would be a go again place for us. My dh gets stuck on one restaurant that he likes so he wants to keep going back to it over and over again. I was on a mission to broaden his horizon somewhat and its actually worked.
I went to I Pazzi today with my husband, my brother, and my (3 year old) son for lunch. The lunch menu was limited, but very tasty. My brother and I had puttanesca linguine, my husband had pasta carbonara, and the kitchen made a plate of penne with red sauce. The rolls we were given first were fresh and tasty and the pasta was cooked well. We called ahead of time to make sure they would be willing to accommodate toddlers and they were very welcoming. The desserts were very good - we had a chocolate mousse and some Mille Foglie. All in all a good experience - we'll likely try it again sometime. My son told me it would be great if we lived next to the restaurant.
