Dumpling Restaurant Coming to the Corner of Las Tunas and Mission in San Gabriel

Wait! You're thinking that Luscious Dumplings Inc. is already on that corner. And Kingburg Kitchen is across the street on another corner. Well, apparently the SW corner of that intersection feels left out, and it looks like a new dumpling restaurant is getting ready to open up at that corner. The signal was green and I only got a quick glance, but it looks like it's not yet open, but may be opening soon. This is the space formerly occupied by Noodle Island and then Sweet Aroma Cafe. I can hardly wait.

In other coming attractions, an AYCE hotpot restaurant, A & J Hot Point, is readying to open up in the Tip Top Sandwich shopping center in Rosemead (due east of 888 Seafood). A&J is located next to Le Arbre Tea House, which is not new having opened last year, but probably has not been mentioned on this board. Something different on the Le Arbre menu is seaweed fish sticks--fish fried in a batter infused with seaweed. Not bad at all. Shopping center address is 8508 E. Valley Bl.

  1. The "seaweed fish sticks" sounds like a similar dish at Chang's Garden in Arcadia. It's pretty tasty.
