  1. Never been, but if you're looking for great pierogi in Ridgewood, Krolewski Jadlo might be worth a shot. It's a nice place too -- totally kitschy, but cute.

    1. re: righter

picked up some blueberry and sauerkrat and mushroom ones, and they were pretty good---
boiled them and then fried them quickly with butter and onions that had already been going--cheap easy dinner--they had some other ones there that were frozen, they said on Mondays everything is fresh there---package was around $4 I think.

    2. This is the go to place for Pierogis! Always Fresh! They now accept credit cards so make sure to stock up! My favorite are the classic Sauerkraut and Mushroom and the Spinach ones are AMAZING!

      1. I haven't been there in over 5 years. But it used to be a great pirogie spot.
When I went it was only take-out, and the pirogies were not cooked yet. They were to be cooked at home. The place was clean, delicious piroges, and very reasonable. The size of the pirogues were smaller than many places.
They did have potato variety ( which is hard to find without cheese mixed in),
I wonder if things changed. Also, They aren't in Ridgewood, they are in Maspeth.
The neighborhood where Krolewski Jadlo is , on Fresh Pond Rd, is the newer Polish area, it is what Greenpoint used to be.
