    They are the best, bar none. If you enjoy Bloody Marys their mix is amazingly powerful-not for the squeamish.

      ITA with this, the mix was too intense for us. I'd suggest cutting it with tomato juice.

        I agree. I prefer low-sodium V8. As you deplete the mix. it gets more intense.

      While I do agree that they are the best....I have settled on Claussen 1/2 cut Pickles as my day to day pickle after our long pickle thread.

        thanks for the post....when I was up north a few weeks ago, they were for sale for $12.99 per jar in Harbor Springs. I am still enjoying the McClures-esque style pickles I canned myself last summer. This year, I will try to master the Bloody Mary mix - I'll have to taste that first.

          momskitchen, I actually did taste the mix at the RO farmers market and really liked it. I bought a jar, then made a Bloody Mary with it. I think the larger quantity vs. the tiny sample was just oo much. YMMV, of course!
