Cheesecake Cafe closes at 11 or midnight, depending on the day of the week. Or go to your favourite restaurant for dessert. There aren't any dessert specialty places that I can think of that are open that late.

      1. Of a coffee shop with nice desserts. Around the university, Block 1912 on Whyte is usually open till midnight, they have gelato and a variety of cakes and pastries.
The Remedy Cafe is open till 1 am everyday and has great Indian wraps and milkshakes. I haven't tried any of there cakes and pies though, so can't vouch for them.
De Capo closes at 11pm and has great gelato, cannoli, panna cotta and a variety of other Italian foods. But it you only have after ten to get there it will be difficult unless you are near the university.

Are you looking in a specific area of Edmonton?

Thank you, lots of great places you have listed.

No problem, I hope your close enough to the University or Strathcona to go to some of them. Also I forgot to mention that De Capo only takes cash! Important to know before you go.

Also these places tend to be full of young hipster university students, sometimes that bothers people.

        2. Just wanted to add - I hate to say this, but more often than not my friends and I have ended up at a Tim Horton's if we want to go anywhere after 11. It's definitely not our first pick but after a certain time and depending on which part of the city you're in, you don't have a lot of choice.
