La Maison de Charly in Paris

We're trying to decide on a restaurant for Moroccan couscous in Paris and are between Le 404 and La Maison de Charly. We've been to Le 404 and really liked it, although it has been a few years and we're thinking we should try some place new. Maison de Charly looked interesting, but I haven't seen any mention of it on this site and wondered if anyone out there has been there recently?

La Maison de Charly is pied-noir Algerian, not Moroccan. Le 404 has a great setting but is not very good. Why not just go to L'Atlas and get some real Fassi cuisine?

I had interpreted La Maison de Charly as being a recent extension of Charly de Bab-el-Oued (which is Algerian). I was right and wrong at the same time. From the website I see it is really an extension of the aforementioned Charly, but they made it Moroccan because Moroccan is hot these days.

Menu looks enticing, but judging by the quality of the previous Charly, if the food is good, that means it has improved.

(Still La Table de Fès and L'Atlas for *real* Moroccan.)
