I'm always amazed at how much expensive items are in Toronto/Canada. Breadtopia prices are less than $20 -> Golda's is 50% more. Unfortunately shipping is usually the problem.

I bought mine from Nikolau, don't recall the price and it seemed to be an odd item for them (the only one in the store, and they couldn't remember the price so we negotiated something reasonable). They're very occasionally found in Williams Sonoma, but at horrendous prices.

Maybe try the San Fran Baking Institute (http://www.sfbi.com) if you don't mind a cross border supplier.
