Trip Plans: April 9-April13

Good Morning, Chows!

I will be in Las Vegas for a convention (natch) April 12-13. I added on a few days so that I could enjoy some fine dining. I've had fun reading all the posts the last couple of months, and am once again placing trust in the OP's offered to us all. Looks like Sage has enormous popularity here, as does e by Jose Andres. As the date gets closer I will try to get reservation to e by Jose Andres. I considered Twist, as my favorite dinner in Vegas was at L'Atelier and the style seems similar. For me , though, it might just be a tad bit too formal for this visit. Another time, perhaps.

I'm seriously considering Sage on Saturday night, Scarpetta on Sunday night, and Jaleo (or e) on Monday night. Sunday is a bit of a wild card. I've always wanted to try Bartolotto's - any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Mary

  1. I had an outstanding dinner at Bartolotto last summer, I'd highly recommend it. My pasta was incredible.

    1. Please note that e by Jose Andres is open for dinner only from Wednesday through Saturday. There are 2 seatings (5:30 and 8:30).

Thank you, I did finally pick up on that. e will have to wait for another trip. I did add Bouchon to my Sunday afternoon to get my fix of oysters - looking forward! I see you are venturing back to Vegas, also. I hope you have a nice visit and great eats!
