Baby Shower Venue in Fairfield County

I'm throwing my sister in law a surprise Baby Shower (about 60 people) sometime in June. I'm interested in hearing recommendations for a brunch/lunch venue.
I've been to parties at The Brewhouse in Sono and loved it, but don't like that private parties are upstairs since it's a pain to drag all the gifts up and down the stairs.
I was also thinking about Red Barn in Westport, but am timid since I've never eaten there. Any other suggestions based upon experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I'm going to start making some phone calls later this week and stop by some of them for some taste testing! ;)

have not been to Red Barn for brunch, but dinner is not good. The new Old Post Tavern in Fairfield has a great lunch and brunch (don't miss the popovers) - I think provate parties may typically be upstairs but there is a section downstairs that would fit your group size well.

Red Barn is a great choice for this. You can get the private room indoors, or ask to have it out on the patio. The shaded umbrella's are perfect for a baby shower. They serve a GREAT brunch for which I have been many times, you won't be disappointed!

I don't know if you'd be willing to go to Milford, but Rainbow Gardens is wonderful for this kind of thing, and very "girly" by nature. The food is excellent, as well, and the location is very pretty.
