San Diego taco map

I'm putting together a map of taco shops in the San Diego region. Just for my own purposes, family and friends, that sort of thing. I'm hoping folks here can suggest some places I'm missing on this map. Thank you.

Oh, you're missing two of my favorite taco shops downtown:

    1) Mexican Fiesta - the adobada tacos are some of the best in town. The rest of the menu is meh.

    2) Lucy's Taco Shop - yes, its right across from the County Jail, and yes, there are a ton of bail bonds places next door, but good food is good food.

    3) La Posta - one of the best places to eat Mexican food at 3 a.m., imho.

Chicken tacos at the Roberto's in Solana Beach on PCH are some of the best I've had..
Crispy white meat with a little grease to them...delicious with guac.

I live 2 blocks from Taco Surf. What blows your skirt up there? I have been under-whelmed in the past.

Firstly, no skirt, no blown away, just noticed it wasn't posted and it's in an area where the OP only has a few locations.

Secondly, Taco Surf does make a perfectly credible Carne Asada Burrito using pretty good steak. Only been disappointed with their CAB a few times...a much better track record than most taco shops in town. The rest of their menu, I have no experience with.

          In Escondido:

Kennedy's Karne - market specializing in marinated meats and taco shop
Vallarta Market - Hispanic supermarket with a huge prepared hot foods section
          Los Charros

          In Encinitas:

          Jorge's Mexicatessen

I think you missed Super Sergio's -- at least i don't see it on your map. GREAT job, by the way!

Wow. I wasn't expecting the music on that website. It scared the crap out of me.

Have you already cross referenced with taco shops in the phone book and are just looking for places not listed there?

There are 1436 at least according to Yelp. Do you want to know just favorites of people on the board or what?

Just looking for people's favorites. Not making a phonebook. Only the good stuff.

Have you looked at this thread, where everyone wrote about their favorite?

Oddly, the OP has never posted again.
