Persian Room had delicious food! We had the dolmas, hummus, cornish game hen plate, gyros, and another chicken plate I can't recall. Enjoyed everything except I wasn't crazy about the gyros. It was on the dry side. I would recommend everything else we ordered!

Like kmarg said, I would say you can't visit PHX without dining at Marcellino and Petite Maison.

great place, the portions are the same at lunch and dinner but cheaper at lunch. Dinner service is nice with the fresh baked pitas.

Thanks for the info. Last time in town I hit Cowboy Ciao, Deseo and the Mission. Any other favorites you'd recommend? I like all kinds of food and price is no object.

Eddie's House in old town, Petite Maison, and Marcellino. the black pepper pasta with bolognese is my favorite at Marcellino, Eddie's has wonderful comfort food with Meditterranean highlights, Petite is straight French bistro.

I probably get the salmon most often. I've had the shrimp and scallops, also fresh and of good quality. The gigantic portion of rice is good, but, I like to substitute salad for it. The flatbread is freshly baked on site. It's complementary, served with onions, butter, and fresh basil. They seem to put something extra in the hummus which makes it creamy.
