I'm flying out for a long weekend for the first time to San Fran Bay area in July with my BF and am looking for suggestions for great eats. We're seeking a memorable weekend jam-packed with the things we love most-- steak, seafood, cookies, and beer! Thanks so much for any suggestions!

Don't mean to be unhelpful, but it would be worth your while to go to the upper right-hand corner of this page and do searches for the various dining options and foods that interest you (streak, seafood, beer, etc.). You should be able to access dozens and dozens of helpful posts with recommendations and suggestions.

You might also want to clarify what parts of the SF Bay Area you expect to be visiting and what price ranges you want to spend for your meals. Also whether there is a specific type of cuisine (Mexican, Italian, Thai, Indian, etc.) that interests you.

I don't know where in the country you are coming from, but the SF Bay Area is not especially strong on steakhouses. Alfred's and Harris are two of the more reliable, traditional steakhouses in San Francisco.
