Weekday Lunch somewhere between Niagara on the Lake and Burlington
Heading from Niagara on the Lake to Port Credit, am looking for a nice little restaurant to stop along the way for lunch on a weekday. Pennisula Ridge and East Dell are closed. Any suggestions?

Bread Bar in Hamilton, a little out of the way but worth it

re: bytepusher
I'll second the recommendation for Bread Bar, though it is a bit out of the way if driving between Niagara and Toronto. My SO and I had a really enjoyable Saturday lunch there several weeks ago. It's not a fancy restaurant but our panini were excellent. Our tablemates ordered pizza (a specialty of the restaurant) which looked scrumptious. The restaurant is also a bakery... they make all of the baked goods for the Ancaster Mill group (including Spencers on the Lake and the new restaurant in Cambridge.) To finish our meal, we bought some fresh bread and scones for Sunday breakfast.

How about the Harbour Diner in Hamilton? It's been on my radar to try for a long time, as it gets positive reviews here.
