What to do with Medjool Dates

I bought a small box of these at Costco and besides eating them plain, what else do you like to do with them? So far I've put them in oatmeal, but that's it. My mom suggested put them in a salad, but that's not really my thing.

One of my best party food go-to's are the Christopher Wren Gems; the only recipe that I've ever adopted from any Silver Palate cookbook.

Use with baked chicken or pork, in salads, cookies, breads, cakes, etc. or add to the Thanksgiving turkey dressing.
They are incredibly versatile and oh so delicious.

A common Middle Eastern finger dessert is a date stuffed with a nut like a pecan or walnut and rolled in sugar

One of my post-workout goto's is a couple of almonds (raw that have been lightly toasted in the oven) stuffed inside a date.

I can't remember which 'Hound I borrowed this from, but I pit them, stuff them with blue cheese, wrap a basil leaf around each and then roll it inside a crescent roll. Bake. Seriously delicious.

I think the recipe's originator used arugula instead of basil, but I didn't have any on hand.

Pit them, stuff with a hunk of blue cheese and bake them wrapped in a slice of bacon. One of my favorite appetizers!!
