Best Dim Sum - Age Old Question
Want to go for Dim Sum tomorrow in Chinatown and would love to hear if anyone has had good dim sum lately that they would recommend. Would prefer carts but not absolutely necessary. Have seen other posts on this board but many are older and food experiences change over time.

Just tried red egg for the first time. The staff was nice, but didn't bring tea or soy sauce to the table until asked. The chili paste was bland. The dim sum menu is heavily pork, which limited my choices. The har gow were very fresh and good - served steaming hot. The snow pea leaves were cooked perfectly with just a hint of garlic sauce - just the way I like it. Those were the highlights. The beef stuffed rice roll looked undercooked and not all beef - could barely try it. The veg dumpling was tasteless. The cilantro steamed rice roll lacked the vibrancy of fresh cilantro - the roll was the perfect texture (unlike the beef rice roll), a bit thick but still good. Just bland. Not as tasty as dim sum a go go.
