Has anyone been to Il Forno in Ashland? Is it worth checking out?

The Westborough location shut down and moved to Ashland basically. My last Il forno experience was at the Acton location about a month ago. I will never return to one of them. the best thing going for them is that you can byob but you can do that at home too.

      Westborough closed?
      Acton is a franchisee.

Website shows Acton, Fitchburg, Ashland, West Boylston as the locations.
Westborough seemed pretty identical to Acton to me, only 2 i had been to and didnt enjoy either. Guess i should have BYOB'd, may have helped! Best part of the meal for both of us was the free subroll that they split down the middle and call garlic bread..

Went to the one in Acton a couple of months ago with 2 DCs. We brought wine and ordered spicy fried calamari, eggplant parmesan and shrimp scampi. The fried calamari came in a fried tortilla shell which was very strange. It was okay, not the best not the worst fried calamari I have had. The eggplant was very good. The shrimp scampi was decent.
