Out of the Blue was delicious!

I just ate at Out of the Blue restaurant in Davis Square, Somerville. It was my first time there, and now I'm sorry I wanted so long! The food was great, the service was very gracious, the room was pleasant. It's primarily a seafood restaurant, although one of our diners got the filet mignon, which was quite tasty and well-prepared. One of us got the bluefish with a grainy mustard sauce with a delicious twist that I couldn't place, and the other got a fried clam/fried scallop plate with truly great onion rings and fries, and outstanding coleslaw. Also, the tartar sauce had dill in it! Yum!

I highly recommend this restaurant for a really tasty casual meal.

This place doesn't get a lot of love on the board but I've never had a bad meal here

I've had good luck with their plain broiled or fried seafood platters- always high quality and well-prepared. The specials and things that have sauces or are more complicated have underwhelmed me.

Very much agreed. The specials are okay, but they do a great seafood platter. Man, that with a Mythos beer, and it's one of the best meals in Davis Square.
