the bakery at mitsuwa in costa mesa has a divine green tea tiramisu as well as a green tea layer cake. their cream puffs aren't green tea, but they're awesome, too.

there are actually two places in the mitsuwa to get pastries. i'm talking about the glass case at the italian tomato shop in the food court.

I agree with Green Tea Terrace in Westwood - get their smoothie. But, for the:

Best Green Tea Ice Cream milkshake:

Buster's Coffee

They use Fosselman's ice cream, which I think is the best green tea ice cream. Enjoy!

Or you could get the green tea ice cream itself, which I agree is so, so good. Chewy green tea. Yum, yum, yummers, and you feel oddly like you have done something healthy for yourself.

Have you tried the green tea ice cream popsicles? THey're in the ice cream section at Mitsuwa and other large Japanese markets. They also have little individual green tea ice cream cups.
They do a nice green tea mousse dessert at Mishima on Third.
Green tea chocolates at Boule, Jin and L'Artisan du Chocolat are yummy. I think they have some cakes and other desserts at Jin as well.

Have tried Jin or L'Artisan, but the green tea truffle at Boule was nothing to write home about... hardly any green tea flavor, the same for the green tea dumplings at New Concept...

i'm also obsessed with anthing greentea. and like my handle indicates, i love green tea gelato (and other green gelatos). you can find green tea gelato at trader joe's, the gelato store off of 3rd st. promenade, the gelato shop on national, and a few other places.

beard papa's has green tea cream puffs once in awhile. it's awesome!

most japanese-y places will have green tea desserts, as mentioned by others. also, the new famima stores have a few good green tea desserts.

Just discovered a Green tea cream puff at Beard papas at the hollywood and highland complex. It was great as were the other cream puffs. Beard Papas happens to be a well known cream puff bakery in Japan where their cream puffs are made fresh before your eyes. So Yummay!!!!
