Excellent lunch in Mississauga?

Hi Chowhounds,

I'll be travelling in to Mississauga (square one area) and need to take a friend out to lunch.
I'm unfamiliar with Miss., but am hoping to get tips on a place with great food and ambience that won't hustle us out after half an hour, and that isn't pricey.
Please no pizza/ Indian food/food court/Hortons/greasy spoon ...

Thanks a bunch!

There's an Italian restaurant tucked into a small plaza behind the Sussex Centre on Enfield Place called Grano Ristorante (Sussex Center is on Burnhamthorpe just south of Sq One). It's been a few years since I've been there but it was nice when I had visited. It's a small restaurant, so depending on how busy they are, service might be a wee bit slow (I was there during the Xmas season when there were lots of lunches going on).
    I googled and here's their website granoristorante.ca

I would second that...Tomken and Eglington, but look closely...it's easy to miss.

i like west 50 personally, although it has been a while. reasonably priced, good food.
there is earls in square one, or for that matter moxies, both good although a little more pricy.
I've heard great things about blue sage though i have yet to try, at tomken and eglington.
        Hope it helps
