Lunch in Tarrytown (March 4th)

Meeting up with a colleague who's just moved back to the NY area - I'm in Ossining, she's in Dobbs Ferry. Thought we could meet in the middle in Tarrytown - any ideas for lunch will be appreciated!

    Is Santa Fe open for lunch now? I passed by a while back at 1PM on a weekday (not Monday) and it was shut tight as a drum...

      Tarry Tavern, on Main St has a wonderful concept of a farm-to-table menu, and a more conventional tavern menu. Something a bit different, and the back room is very quiet. Highly recommended.

        I love Tarry Tavern for dinner but I've never been for lunch. Is it the same menu?

          We'll try Tarry Tavern the next time - good thought! Santa Fe's salads were perfect for us - thanks for that suggestion.

        What kind of lunch are you looking for? I love Horsefeather's for lunch - great burgers, etc.

          Casual, not fancy, but where we can hear one another speak. :-) Probably looking for soup/salad. Will Horsefeathers do the trick?

            Santa Fe (right on Main Street) has great lunch salads, and they have many interesting dressings that they make themselves (my favorite is the citrus one). Definitely quiet and you can spend as much time as you'd like.
